For the last four years I've had the fortune to be one of the instructors (coordinators) for the "fundamentals" OTS grad course, and more recently for the spanish version of the same course Ecología Tropical y Conservación, both of which started decades ago and have trained dozens of ecologists and biologists. We not only teach them how to develop hypotheses, gather data, and analyze and interpret it in record time, we also teach them how to communicate science effectively.
